Our Founder Susan Straub-Martin is the passionate artist, storyteller and purveyor of hugs behind Strauberry Studios. Susan is a creative designer known for her sophisticated yet relaxed modern approach to Buddies (polar fleece toys) and children’s books. With spirited colors, confident combinations of printed backgrounds, and simple lovable characters Susan’s fresh point of view is apparent in both her picture books and in the clothing she designs for her Buddies. This mix of bright patterns and simple characters makes her style inspiring for kids and is sophisticated enough for adults.
